Julian Chown is the owner of Joules Production Studios which is an audio studio for production song-writing, sound design, overdubbing/ mixing, programming and editing.

There is an acoustically treated vocal booth for high quality sound recording amongst the best microphones and 1950's pre-amps.

Joules Productions has been run for many years, working with many signed and unsigned artists around the globe. These artists include Valerie M's "Maxfield" (Groove Armada, Freestylers, Lisa Marie Experience, Le Click) who signed our music to Warner/ Brown Punk, Craig Walker (Archive, Power of Dreams) signed our music to Sony BMG, Nord (Sony BMG), Mark Sullivan (Ray Charles guitarist), Hightower Set signed to Kingsize alongside Appleseed + Blackwater Industries (Dust 2 Dust (Rumour, Black on Black Records, Ninja Tunes), ... & many more.

Current project includes Patrissia (currently no3 in US indie Charts); mixed by Chicky NYC (Grace Jones/ Boyz 2 Men/ Left Eye Lisa Lopez/ Timberland/ etc) mastered at Metropolis.

At Joules Productions, cutting edge audio is produced in all music genres specialising in R+B, Rock, Soul, Funk, Film Score and atmospherics.
