Detailed Service Description: Text and audio translations or transcriptions by English mother-tongue translator. Legal work is our speciality - government documentation, immigration and court papers, genealogical research -handwritten or typed- affidavits, contracts. Member of Institute of Linguists.
Technical translations eg construction industry; landscape gardening; IT and telecoms installations; door entry systems.
Financial: including tenders; invoices; tax forms; insurance.

Interpreter: member of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters. Using simultaneous techniques or, where required, interpreting consecutively, I act as an interpreter for a wide range of clients:
Conferences: assignments have included the London conference of a well-known pressure group and interpreting for a delegation from the D.R.C. at an international mining exhibition.
Recording work: I have recorded an audioguide for a government department.
Court interpreting: family matters, criminal cases, civil disputes, tribunals. I also interpret in prisons and for the probation service.
Police work for Surrey Police and the Metropolitan Police, where I am called in to police stations to interpret custody reviews, interviews etc in relation to non-English speakers. I hold enhanced CRB clearance.
Telephone interpreting for a leading international provider, where I interpret for both the commercial and the public sector, including liaison between French and English speakers in many different situations - from the rectification of computer problems to airline delays, power supply problems, private health contracts, police matters and many others. In this capacity I am also an approved interpreter for French Canadian.
Immigration work: I am a member of the interpreters’ panel for the Immigration and Nationality Directorate of the Home Office and undertake interpreting at Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Health Authority work: interpreting for doctors and dentists and in post-traumatic stress, psychotherapy, ECG, outpatient and mental health services at various hospitals. I have also worked as an interpreter during addiction therapy sessions at The Priory Hospital, and for the day surgery unit at Kingston Hospital, as well as undertaking a lengthy assignment at The Children's Trust.
London Boroughs of Kingston, Sutton, Merton and Richmond, Surrey County Council:. I have worked extensively in services dealing with asylum seekers, housing, social services, education, equal opportunities et al., including age assessments for unaccompanied minors and child protection case conferences. I have also been engaged to interpret for a visiting delegation from France.
