About the service:
I am a professional Chinese interpreter and translator who currently based in Oxford, United Kingdom. I offer professional and high quality interpreting and translation service from English into Cantonese (Traditional Chinese) and Mandarin (Simplified Chinese), as well as other language services, including Chinese proofreading, Chinese langauge tuition, and cultural awareness sessions.
I have been teaching Cantonese and Mandarin in the UK for 4 years and I have various teaching experiences in different educational settings, including independent school and college. My students are from all walks of life, all age groups and different ability levels, and I am able to cater different learning needs and objectives.
I have experiences in translating different materials and have completed successful projects. Currently I am undertaking DPSI training in the health option and will sit in the 2008 exam. I have excellent general and professional knowledge in government and social services as well as medical and health service.
Interpreting service: English/ Cantonese interpreting, Simultaneous, Consecutive, Ad hoc, Public Service including consultations, local government meetings, school meetings, medical appointments and more.
Translation service: English/ Simplified Chinese/ Traditional Chinese translation, general personal and business correspondence, medical records, academic reports and writings, research reports, legal documents, public service brochures and leaflets, advocacy and educational materials, marketing and advertisement, and more.
Other language services: subtitling, transcription, typesetting.
Language tuition and learning: Chinese editing and proofreading, individual and group tuition (Cantonese and Mandarin) for all ages and levels, online language tuition, oral practice partner, exam preparation (GCSE, A Level)
