Summary:
I’m
a Spanish to English translator. I am also a highly skilled (American) English proofreader, copy editor
and editor with a degree in writing. Without
too much bragging, I would simply like to point out that as someone who cares
about language, I take the time and make the effort to polish my translations
so that they read naturally. I think of this as job satisfaction – I want to
feel proud of my work.
As a translator, I'm well
aware of how helpful and useful it is to have a second pair of eyes go over a
complicated translation with a fine-tooth comb. And as a language arts
specialist – by which I mean to
refer to my experience in the worlds of writing and editing – I know how necessary this really is.
One of my specialities is ESL/EFL editing – correcting texts translated and/or
written by non-native English speakers. Documents and websites with errors
everywhere make a bad first impression and can result in lost business.
